The Lady Roars…
Continuing my steampunk theme, here we have a resin mini from Micro Art Studio from their Wolsung Ash and Oak crew. Again, it’s been in my pile of shame for sometime now, but over a weekend I’ve mounted ‘Lady Dorothy Quimby’ on a 50mm Micro Art Studio Troglodyte base and accompanied her with a Citadel Miniature’s Scarecrow Familiar and a Bombshell Miniatures’ Sidekicks (60005) Tazjh Raptor Hatchling. The base, scarecrow and Dino were undercoated black while Lady Dotty was undercoated with matt white PlastiKote spray. The rocks on the base were later repainted with Wraithbone and washed with Sepia. The white undercoat on the main figure lent itself to a wash of Drakenhof Nightshade. The smoke/steam from the bike exhausts as created with teased out plastic sponge packing material.
