Ponder On Just What The Salute 2015 Miniature Is!
January 5, 2015 by brennon
Salute 2015 is set for 25th of April this year and with that in mind there's previews of that rather sought after miniature they give away floating around on Facebook. See what you think of these snippets and then have a guess as to what it is...
The theme for this years event is Agincourt so that might give you a bit of a heads up as to what kind of miniature this is too. The first image might, at first, look like a spade but appears to be a hammer while the second is clearly of a sword strapped to the back or belt of the figure.
What do you think?
Probably a knight/Men-at-arm with a polehammer. Or an archer knocking down wooden stakes.
It looks like the top image is an axe??
could be a shovel – the Siege of Harfleur?
The first photo could be a warhammer or an axe, and therefore may be the last thing many French knights saw before shuffling off this mortal coil :-).
Is it Henry V doing a spot of gardening at the weekend?
foot knight with hammerspike on long pole.
Some kind of standard bearer? Would definitely guess Agincourt as it is the 600th anniversary this year.
Someone doing a spot of hammering. Not sure if it’s heads or stakes though.
But I can say I will be getting one
Someone setting up the radio antenna to catch the game?
