Had some spare time in my time frame. Painted Principalis Junith Eruita of the Adepta Sororitas.

The miniature was slightly modified. I didn’t liked the form of a flying pulpit and changed it to a walking pulpit (more grim dark ). The heavy flammer were built to the sides.

For the scriptures i used a Windsor Newton 0,1mm Fineliner. There exist also a 0,05mm. These should be water resistant. non fading, but…

The result of these is very shiny. So i wanted to matt varnish them. And good i tried this out in advance:

Some varnishes include some degree of alkohol or other thinner. And the results are as seen. In the left underline you can see the result of the premium airbrush matt varnish 62.062 (Vallejo), which i mainly use and love. Fegg.

As seen. i can recommend a gloss varnish V70.470 (Vallejo) or V-20724 (Vallejo?) and when dried a matt varnish over it.

Using a airbrush instead a brush may help too for better results.
