Venom Suits Up For A New Host In Villainous Expansion

Marvel Villainous from Ravensburger has added a new spidey-themed bad guy to their roster. Stepping up to obtain Spider-Man, this symbiote will be heading to the table this October to compete against the likes of Hela, Thanos and Ultron.

Eddie Brock will be playing host to the psychopathic intelligence in the upcoming expansion Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power, We Are Venom. Venom's overarching goal is to obtain the Spider using brute force and unmatched strength.

In Villainous, 2-4 players wreak havoc meeting their selfish and villainous goals. Working simultaneously to fulfil their target flexing unique goals across different locations. Being in control of their destiny, players will work hard to ensure they are taking the dark path. Facing other villains and heroes along the way, and events interfering with each player's control over chaos. Awarding winner to whoever meets their character conditions first.

In the upcoming expansion, the dirty deeds Venom wishes to pursue follow a route to overpower Spider-Man in hopes of entering Peter Parker's body as a new home and host. An upgrade from Eddie if you will! Given Venom's super strength and ability to stretch unnaturally far it's of utmost importance that he takes nicks to Spider-Man's strengths weakening his opponent to eventually take over.

Realistically, if Venom is up against the likes of Ultron and Thanos, he's sure going to need some strong allies to ensure his task is completed quickly. With Lasher, Agony, Riot, Scream and Phage willing to lend an arm to the battle. However, Black Cat, Silver Sable and Scarlet Spider will be waiting in the wings as a counterbalance of fate to support Spidey's demise.

It's wonderful to see the Villainous roster grow even further. Venom is such a popular character across many, I wonder if we are to expect more Spider-Man villains in the future, or heading off somewhere else in the MCU.

The game is set to be released in October on Amazon if you get your shopping done online. But the game will be released later to mass retail in November if you are looking to pick it up locally.
