Wyrd has announced its new and upcoming Rotten Harvest box sets, ready for release in the final stages of September. Bringing the drop-dead gorgeous Mexican theme of Dia De Los Muertos, entering through the portal in bright colours, flowers, eccentric clothing, with bones chattering to bring some beautifully dark and additional whimsy to The Guild this Halloween.

Once again, this year Wyrd has announced two boxes themed for the Rotten Harvest. Unlike the previous years, centric releases around the natives of Malifaux, The Neverborn. Players will be ready to recruit for The Guild this Autumn, focussing on the theme of Day of the Dead, with the Dia De Los Muertos and La Noche De Duelo sets.

The combination of the two boxes provides alternate sculpts for the Marshal crew, with new cards coming along with the release. The Dia De Los Muertos set comes with La Catrina, a fancy hat and draping dress in two for an Alt Lady Justice, Santa Muerte with a deadly scythe in hand as an Alt The Judge, taking reference from Mexican folk art sculptures; Alebrije arrives as an Alt Scales of Justice, and players also gain access to three Calaca; tomb-diving and gunslinging as Alt Death Marshals.

The second box, La Noche De Duelo, expands the crew further. Bringing three models in this additional set, with Charro (not to be confused with the Mexican, blonde folk singer!) atop of a fierce skeletal steed as an alt The Lone Marshal, and two Cucuruchos donning trench coats and intimidation as Alt Exorcists.

The sets have been pre-assembled so there's no need to get your hands sticky on assembly.  Both are limited edition, so if you are looking for something a little abnormal as an alt Marshal Crew for The Guild - they will be available as part of this year's Halloween Wyrd festivities. And potentially in future Wyrd sales. These sets are available to pre-order now from a wide range of retail stores.

What do you think of the new Malifaux Halloween-themed models?
