Join The City Watch RPG Patrolling Through One Hour Sessions!
July 29, 2022 by fcostin
Do you struggle to make progress in your roleplaying games? Getting a full campaign across the weeks and not getting very far? If you are looking to sit through a whole roleplaying game within one hour, you may want to take a look at The City Watch for 5E. As players are provided 10 different adventures, guarding Port Perro City. Growing in the role from patrolling to being pulled into whimsical City-level dangers!
The City Watch // One Hour RPG
Tailored for each adventure to be played out in an hour, but you will need to fit into the duty of a guard! The adventure must serve a purpose, sticking to a tight schedule to ensure you meet the 60-minute target per arc. However, if GMs are aware that their group may like to goof off on duties, there is no reason why each mission cannot be extended.
"Their duties include patrolling the streets, manning the city gates, investigating crimes, and doing whatever their boss Lyza, the captain of the guard, tells them to do." - The City Watch Kickstarter
Zine Preview // The City Watch
The adventures sound like a hoot! Taking players off into surrounding areas of the city, causing peril to the people within. Dealing with a massive creature that dwells within the tunnels underneath the city, and taking down a Rust Monster who has found a comfortable spot in the armoury. Whatever your reason to enlist, you'll be guarding and helping those within the walls, dealing with many walks of life along the way with enough twists to keep you on your toes. All standalone however connected through each story.
The Kickstarter campaign by S.K Dinning is relatively small, with the humble goal to meet £100 to get those adventures out on the table. Already meeting the target and onto some stretch goals. There are 34 days left on the clock, and several different pledges to choose from. Whether you would like The City Watch digital or physical, ready to be fulfilled this October.
Think you would enjoy helping out Port Perro City and joining their City Watch?
