I too liked the old format better but:

still a pandemic even though many people act like it isn’t
the team is spread across the land and not “all in one place” (Gerry has a long commute and IIRC Free isn’t even in Ireland, just like Ben)
it’s the choice of the OTT/BoW/Wayland team.
Without the zoom meetings we would miss out on cats!

It’s not perfect but it’ll take some more months/years before we’re back to something really “normal”. (Unless we have a WWIII before that or the world just burned to a crisp)
