I find myself looking in the seasonal and special items aisles in the Lidl supermarket, because people seem to open boxes with electronic items inside and leaving the packaging all over the place. I found this big piece of packing and immediately thought of a bridge over a long since iced solid river. 
I found a long piece of MDF once I got home that would give me a walkway. The walkway was once the side of a paint bottle rack I disassembled..
