Mount Up In 40K’s New Leagues Of Votann Sagitaur ATV
July 20, 2022 by brennon
Games Workshop's Leagues Of Votann previews continue at pace. The Sagitaur ATV is going to be zooming across tabletops in the near future, dropping your Votann troops into the heart of the action and offering them covering fire.

Styled as a little bit of a "moon buggy", this Sagitaur ATV is a great way for the Leagues Of Votann to scout the battlefield, secure objectives and even just explore brave new worlds. These often work in pairs and between them, they can carry Hearthkyn Warriors and Einhyr Hearthguard right into the heart of the fighting.
They are suitably armoured but these Sagitaur also sport a LOT of different weapons.

These vehicles can be armed with nose-mounted Bolt Cannons plus HYLas Bean Cannons, L7 Missile Launchers and MATR Autocannons. This means they are able to do a fair amount of damage if placed in the right spot on the battlefield.
Ideally, they would drop off their Votann cargo on objectives and then hare off into the dust to try and deal with another approaching threat. There are also a few options when it comes to driving these vehicles.

I would assume that we're going to be getting two of these in a set but I reckon it is going to come at a fairly hefty cost. I am liking these a lot more than the Pioneers that we saw previously but I'm sure they will grow on me. More vehicles are also hinted at for the future.
Are you going to be snapping up the Leagues Of Votann when they get released?

a fabulous space dune buggy.
That looks lot better than that silly Primaris ATV.
I really dig the look of this one. It doesn’t scream “I’M FROM 40K!!!” and will fit into generic sci-fi games really well!
This looks oh so much like “moon patrol”. You know, the old arcade!
M.O.O.N. that spells Moon.
It’s actually reminds me of a upgraded version of the Harleys Hope crawler.https://www.pinterest.jp/pin/697213586031801188/
Thankyou, I knew i recognised the shape from somewhere and couldn’t place it. That is it!
I think the model is awesome. It suits the mining aesthetic of the space dwarves for Necromunda. If it was only for mining that would be great. The only problem is the glass canopy? Not a very good way to go to war!
I would love to see some dioramas with this model.
Yes, but this is space glass.
LOL ?
That a new product from Corning to replace Gorilla Glass?
Indeed, still at least a glass canopy is better than strapping yourself into the front of a giant armoured walking thing 😉
or sitting just below the barrel of a cannon so you can enjoy being blinded by smoke as well as going deaf from the noise 😉
Looks very GI Joe, but I actually like it.
It doesn’t feel very 40k, but (or maybe because of this) I really like it.
A few modifications would make it an outstanding recon vehicle for more generic sci-fi.
Got to say this looks great for a GW kit, surprisingly practical and looks like it could actually work.
It really is a cool design, reminiscent of the ME Mako and such. Fits with the “colonization fleet lost in space” theme of the votann.
