1st unit squad of roughriders
The roughriders of the tallarn 7th Desert Djinn are mostly used as scouts and fast attack for hit and run raids on enemy convoys.
These are my first attempt at kitbashing and I really enjoyed the experience of creating something new, learning lots along the way. In this case I’ve taken some of the torsos from Victoria miniatures and matched them to Atalan jackals bikes and legs. I even like the mismatch of weapons as it paints the story of a band of isolated operators who use their preferred weapons rather than standard issue.
This also represents the first time dry brushing and the return to painting and making models after 10 years or so. (Lots of very dry paints)
