The game expands and grows as you go, telling stories in an unfolding world of myth and legend as you undertake adventures as Robin Hood and his Merry Men. A new expansion is now on the way featuring good ol' Friar Tuck!

Known as Die Abenteuer des Robin Hood: Bruder Tuck in Gefahr (The Adventures Of Robin Hood: Brother Tuck In Danger - thanks again Google), this game will offer up a whole new set of stories and adventures for you to play out but with the aid of Brother Tuck. Well, once you've rescued him!

Much like with the previous game in the series, you'll be using a storybook to follow the unfolding narrative whilst opening windows on the game board to under what's going on throughout Nottingham and Sherwood Forest.

In this tale, Friar Tuck offers more help and guidance to the heroes with a range of new special abilities. This will be handy as a new foe has emerged out of the West and adversaries you thought vanquished have returned as bitter enemies once more!

I am always intrigued by storytelling and narrative board games. What's nice about this one is that it feels like it works on a family level as well as an older "gamer group" one. There seems to be a lot here for a family to get stuck into, offering up a new way to sit down and enjoy some time at the tabletop.
