Warhammer Summer Skirmish Preview Lands This Sunday

Games Workshop has planned another of their Warhammer Previews for this coming weekend. 2pm BST 10th July will mark the start of their "Summer Skirmish" preview where they will be looking at a selection of different games.

The livestream is going to be covering a number of their smaller-scale games including Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Warcry, Warhammer Underworlds, Blood Bowl and Necromunda.

We knew that Warcry was getting a proper update soon alongside its rebranding so it will be interesting to see what a new set and/or collection of warbands contains. They have begun to step further away from the Chaos-centric starting point (which I think is a shame) but it will be neat to see how the game develops.
Stepping away from The Mortal Realms, we also have Kill Team. A recent preview video showed off a little robot fellow heading deep into the bowels of a Space Hulk. Are we going to see Space Hulk given a new lease of life in Kill Team? I think we're going to see something much more normal and have Leagues Of Votann clashing with Tyranids in the heart of a long-lost hulk.

Warhammer Underworlds, Blood Bowl and Necromunda have been ticking along nicely for the last while so I'm not sure what we'll see on that front. I would assume a new boxed set for Warhammer Underworlds pushing the story forward and more for the Wastelands of Necromunda.
Are you going to be tuning in to see what gets announced?

Will be good to see game’s for the games that they haven’t played before they decide to jump in to them. hopefully the Kill team an Necromunda video’s will be great.
New Blood Bowl team (from the Team’s of Legend PDF – hopefully Vamps, or Amazons). Or failing that I will settle for a star player Spike and revised Star Player’s from the 2016 edition who never got a miniature – looking at your Hubris Rakarth!
My dream would be a Chaos Renegades box will mulitpart sprues for mutations. Or a Chaos All Star plastic team based upon the classic 1980’s Phil Lewis team!
It’s quite unusual for one of these previews to be on a Sunday isn’t it?
For us Kiwis, that will finish around 2amm Monday morning… Bit of a bugger for those that have to get up and go to work a mere 6ish hours later.
It’s good for Uncle Adam though, I think he has a regular “Every Other Sunday Show” which should be starting around when this finishes.
Another Underworlds set ?
It feels like they’re releasing one every 3 months or so, which is ridiculously fast for such a small game.
Warcry … when it was first released I already said that an Ork-themed variant would be great. It’s the only non-chaos faction that loves to fight.
Killteam is likely getting a genestealer themed set with a space hulk as terrain … at least that is what the preview trailer hinted at.
If either has any good models I might be tempted, but for now I will attempt to resist the call.
