Yes – last again! I’m getting good at this…
Happy weekender all. Backed the Warploque Kickstarter this week, I’m a very happy bunny indeed. I really want to get my hands on 02 hundred hours so currently planning to dump a load of ‘what might of beens’ on ebay.
you say have a great weekend, but do you mean it? I have yet to see the Greatest Movie ever Made here. I mean how can one have a great weekend without that?
that’s for us to know and for you to find out 😉
Weekender time. Gloomhaven intrigues me.
Still having dinner… will watch later… promise.
It’s the Weekend (…to be at Glastonbury)!
My Umbrella Academy triple book boxset has just arrived, I wonder why?
time to start the weekend, early and hobbying
There was a James Bond roleplaying game back in the 1980s, from Victory Games (which was the New York outpost of Avalon Hill).
I have a complete set of the James Bond RPG as during the 90s when GW was a games store sold everything they had a sale and I picked it all up for under a £5 a box. If you search on Drivethru RPG is an RPG called classified (which is the JBRPG game mechanics sort of reprinted) – https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/69/Expeditious-Retreat-Press/subcategory/225_20577/Classified From the Bond Wiki (For Gerry) SMERSH (a portmanteau of the Russian Smyert Shpionam – Смерть Шпионам – which means “Death to Spies”) is a fictional Soviet counterintelligence agency featured primarily in the early James Bond novels by Ian Fleming.… Read more »
Yay happy weekender time OTTers.
Gloomhaven does look a great massive game system.
Burt Bacharach ?
the Orks do remind me of the Uruk-Hai Orks.
squat robots are very Bicentennial Man-ish.
Politics the death of the imperial empire. don’t forget many people think the Emperor is a perpetual like Vulkan but the imperial hier·archy won’t commit as they fear the Emperor returning.
a fab show guy’s.
yay, the weekender finally managed to watch on day of release. Had a look at the join or Die wanted stls, quite like the look of them. Happy gaming and crafting folks.
The Weekender is here! You lot can make fun of James Bond all you want, but I’ll still love it! It’s some of the most fun escapism that you can find in books and films. I DO also love the Austin Powers series. With the help of my friend @avernos I have finally got my hands on an Austin Powers figure. As for the RPGs I have the early James Bond series of source books and adventures. So much fun! Love the ‘Join Or Die Wanted’ figures By 3DBreed Miniatures. They look really nice. I have soooo many ‘Dead Man’s… Read more »
Childres said they’re taking Caphalofair to Backerkit because of Kickstarters move to Blockchain. Not to do with any competition or cheaper fees.
Gloomhaven looks super interesting in general, that expansion is a really cool thing to have been done.
Happy weekend guys!
Late to party again, as watching New Star Trek Friday night and out all day yesterday…..Yeah to Warren and Crusade..
No looking at Kings of War Skelly army…
Crusade force of Marine lands on tomb like world and gets attacked by thousands of Skellies.
Sigh — The pandemic put our gaming group on hold, so we’re only 1/3 through Gloomhaven, and haven’t started Jaws or Forgotten Circles. It’s a tactical spatial and hand management game, and the introductory Jaws game is about $35. It’s soloable, in that you can play two or more characters. The mini’s from the upcoming crowdfunding project look great, but, obviously, you’ll want to play the game before putting up the expense for 500 miniatures — or get a 3D printer so you can download fanmade .stl files to make your own mini’s.
