North Star Military Figures is lining up a brand new set of plastic and metal miniatures for the awesome Oathmark: Battles Of The Lost Age. A new set of 28mm Fantasy characters and troops are going to be popping up in July.

Plastic Orc #1 - Oathmark

We'll start with the plastic miniatures. A brand new plastic kit is on the way that will feature plenty of different options for kitting out your Orc warriors. They are clad in a mix of different leather and chainmail alongside weapons like swords, axes and big nasty axes.

Plastic Orc #3 - Oathmark

I think that the Oathmark kits are fantastic. They make amazing kits for those looking to pick up a lot of miniatures for your mass battle Fantasy wargames. Even if you're not playing Oathmark, I'd suggest going to check out the range.

Plastic Orc Regiment - Oathmark

I know I always say this but there is a really nice Tolkienesque quality to the miniatures for Oathmark. For that reason, I could see a lot of people picking up these plastic kits and using them as the basis for skirmishing warbands and the like in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game.

They are all 28mm in scale so it's just a case of making sure that weapons and such match. A lot of the metal characters would be great as replacements for the main characters of Middle-earth too!

Anyway, as you can see, the plastic kit comes with swords, axes, daggers, spears, bows and more allowing you to make a diverse range of units for your Oathmark armies. Do you have a favourite combination of bitz yet?

Metal Orc Miniatures Lead The Way

As well as the plastic miniatures, we also get a new set of metal characters to lead units and take command of armies.

Metal Orc Characters - Oathmark

This set offers up Champions armed with various weapons, Musicians, Sorcerers/Shamans and more. I do love that leader character with the fur cloak and scimitar held aloft!

One of the best things about Oathmark is that you're not tied to a particular faction. If you want to mix armies of Dwarves, Elves and Orcs together, you can. So, if you like this new kit there is nothing stopping you from snapping it up.

Are you going to be snagging these?
