Ever wondered what a Golden Eagles head looks like?

As I’m loosely basing my Eagle on a Golden Eagle I’ve tried to copy the beak closely as well as making the eyes a dullish amber colour.
I think that ive got it reasonably close.
I couldn’t tell you what colours I’ve used because it really was a messy mix of browns, yellows, reds in my pallet. I am using mostly scale 75 instants because despite not being instant, they mix and blend incredibly well.

Blue giant Eagle

I wanted to add a bit of a golden colour to some of the feathers not only because I thought it would look nice but because I wanted it to break the layers of feathers up a bit. I’ve gone for both a pattern in some areas and randomness in other areas as from the pictures I’ve seen Eagle feathers are rarely completely uniform.
