Come Together - Chili Fox

Come Together // Chilifox Games

Heading off into the middle of nature to enjoy the peace, love and atmosphere is of top priority in Come Together. 1-6 players will be putting their worker placement skills to arrange the most radical music festival, acquiring volunteers to spread the cool word, and arranging far-out artists to attend.

Chilifox Games has announced the basic premise of Come Together, which encourages the mellow beings of peace and love to rejoice in harmony across an epic event - all proposing to be the most spectacular. Competing for an outrageous experience, players will be hunting for publicity whilst they build incredible stages and camping areas, facing dilemmas as they plan an epic event.

Headliner Cards - Come Together

Headliner Cards // Come Together

"When you place workers, you do not immediately gain the card you just claimed. You must wait until a player activates that location (which activates it for all players on that location). Players are constantly facing important dilemmas: One dilemma is whether to claim a card or activate a location. Timing of the activation can be crucial. Another dilemma is whether to claim the card you really want or claim a less attractive card in order gain more publicity by joining players on another location." - Come Together, Board Game Geek

Festival Boards - Come Together

The player count is 1-6 so I am sure removing the competitive element would be a lot of fun. Agreeably simultaneously fighting to bring forth the most radical of festivals would be a challenging experience, but adding solo play into worker placement titles like this really does work as a fantastic practice mode and a wonderful learning tool.

The game has now been previewed ahead of SPIEL '22, so we can expect to see more on the upcoming peace and love fuelled title in October! But if you cannot wait, you can download the rules for the first print run, over on BGG!

How would you theme your ultimate 60s music festival?
