Crush Your Foes Beneath Rocket Pig Games’ Walking Fortress
June 10, 2022 by brennon
Warren found this one! Rocket Pig Games do some fun 3D Printing kits and one of their recent releases is the towering Walking Fortress. This is an utterly immense Undead Giant that has been turned into a walking fortification thanks to some necromantic power.

This render doesn't really do the miniature justice. Yes, this is 28/32mm scale and is part towering behemoth and part fortress. You could imagine this being the siege engine of some undead legion that is seeking to bring a kingdom low.
So, when this image popped up of a printed version of the Walking Fortress, we were pretty blown away.

As you can see, those are Age Of Sigmar miniatures clambering around on its various ledges. That should put into perspective just how big this miniature is. You would be playing a game just on this pretty much!

It's not clear who printed this (if it was you, speak up!) but they did a fantastic job on it. I love that it has cannons stuck into pretty much every nook and cranny that they could possibly fit. I imagine it teetering and creaking with each shot, threatening to blow itself into dozens of bloody pieces.
An amazing miniature from Rocket Pig Games that we had to feature. I could imagine this being a neat finale piece for a big roleplaying game event. End of campaign territory is in sight with this one I reckon.
Would you dare to print this?

Not sure how useful it would be in an actual game, but damn it does look impressive on a table.
That is one impressive looking huge miniature.
DAMN!
‘oh I’m bringing a giant. I know, it’s 300 points but it shouldn’t take over the game.’
Cigar cannon. Is that a first?
Reminds me of when Hannibal from the A-Team used to be in a monster costume on a movie set and be smoking between scenes.
Ooh that is a fabulous mental looking figures for gaming but it’s another set of 3D printer files so I’m out. will be brilliant to see one painted up in the future.
Yeah, maybe a promotional eye point in a store but not really sold on this but top points for originality and vision
Can you still call it a miniature at this size? It looks amazing. You won’t need a table with mat and terrain because it is the table,
I wonder how many people will try to print this one out?
These feels less like a minature and more like terrain for actual miniatures to play across.
You could base a while arc about your Players conquering this and turning it into shambling semi-sentiant home base.
Looks like a Sludge game centerpiece.
Hey, thank you so much for the feature! We really appreciate that. Here’s a link to out store for anyone curious. We really enjoy creating our Epic Model Kits and hope you find them entertaining and useful! They are always a part of our Champion Tier on our MMF tribe, too. That’s always a tremendous savings since you get the whole month worth of miniatures for less than the Epic alone ?
