So AMG also released an image of an upcoming shadow collective BFB. Since there is no price given for this, the following is to be taken with a grain of salt!

Shadow collective battle force box 149,99 (??)

    1 Black Sun Enforcers 34,99
    1 Gar Saxon 19,99
1 Pyke Syndicate Foot Soldiers 34,99
    1 Maul 19,99
    1 Bossk 19,99
    1 Cad Bane 19,99
    1 Mandalorian Super Commandos 34,99
    1 Swoop Bike Riders 34,99
    1 A-A5 71,99

    Total 291,91
    potential saving 141,92 (49%)

Still no word on the possibility of building a 100% Mandalorian force though 🙁

Those army packs are pretty decent value though it must be said. The only shame is that none of the minis included are new – a Hoth Leia at last would have been nice as I have both her and Chewie. Tempting to grab the Rebel box for the rest though, as it’s at least a way to get R2 & 3PO outside that downed AT-ST set. The Blizzard Force and 501st tickle my fancy as well…..

    R2 & 3PO outside that downed AT-ST set.

Escape Pod set you mean? The downed AT-ST is just the AT-ST @dawfydd

    @graystoak my pleasure.

I knew it was some daft set with a chunk of resin I had no interest in 😛

It’s all plastic. No resin from FFG/AMG yet.

Isn’t this kind of what people/fans have been saying since Legion was announced ?
Themed sets for the big battles from the movies would be soo cool …

I hope the boxes also contain better build instructions and a painting guide to make them a complete set for a new army.

@limburger I wouldn’t hold my breath. But that’s just my guts

I collected all the initial releases but lost interest. The game system is way too fiddly for what it needs to be, aimed clearly at the competitive players only. The price rises killed my interest. We never did get Yoda for the rebel faction, but got a lot of garbage instead. Such a shame as this could and should have been a great game.

I am anything but a competitive player and still very much enjoy the game.  Have you tried the 500 point “skirmish” rules? A much faster and interesting game. Also it’s only a 3×3 and not a 3×6 so action is more imminent.

Been playing a lot of skirmish lately. It’s perfect for a mid week/quick game before a couple of beers. Full sized games can be fiddly if you get carried away with upgrades or too many different unit types  but the game is well balanced and basic units can compete with more elite ones.

@sundancer maybe you enjoy it because you love starwars and a lot of the rules play into that theme ? 😉

I certainly want to see a proper unboxing of those sets, because they almost too good to be true.
Not just in pure value, but in terms of what they could do with them.

I think the unboxing will be rather disappointing. Same minis as before, a bit cardboard and some cards.
