NO Weekender & Cult Of Games XLBS This Weekend

Hello folks! So, everyone is back safe and sound from the UK Games Expo but half of the team who travelled over for the event have tested positive for Covid-19. To that end, we're not going to be able to get to a place where we'll be able to produce the Weekender and Cult Of Games XLBS for you this week.
We're hoping that things will go back to some form of normality next week. In the meantime, make sure to dive in and watch back over the content we filmed as part of the UK Games Expo and we hope you had a good time hanging out with us during the event.

It’s hitting everyone it seems – my parents were on a cruise last week and half the ship came down with it. They’re both still testing positive so I’ve decamped to my grandathers.
In any case fingers crossed it doesn’t hit the team too hard and you all get well soon.
Which two male members got monkey pox ?…. on a serious note sorry to hear people caught it, as you know some recover well and others do not, that`s my worry about it. Quite shocked to find its still spreading really and it was at the Expo… Dose up on the “right” treatments, youtube should be a great help wink wink

Other questions……..did folks have to pass a quick test to get in? Did the UK just open the doors and say come on in? Is there an online reporting page to report if you too contracted it? just wander on in, masks optional. 40K attendees and I think I saw a percentage of a percentage wearing a mask. It was always going to be a gamble
Having had all the jabs, and actually having it at Xmas, figured I was reasonably safe, plus like yourself the virus probably got as pissed as a fart if it tried to infect us.
See above looks like we were in the minority that didn’t, obviously protected by the beer and cheese!
Your suspicions are well founded, talking to Vincent from Asgard on Sat apparently a fair few of the attendee’s that are his customers and we know came down with it and the whole of Asmodee that were at show.

Two weeks and no Weekender or Weekender XLBS!!!
But, but, but.
Oh well it happens, hope its nothing worse than sniffles and groggy a day or two, I know Warzan got hit a bit hard start of the year and he’d only just got back dagnamit.
At times like this I have historicly suggested, and you guys have done is raid the vaults to show us an old episode 🙂
