The folks behind CATAN are back with an updated take on the classic board game. Dawn Of Humankind has you charting the progress of human civilisation and trying to make the most of your settlements.
You will also travel the prehistoric world and dive deeper into a more complex version of the original strategy game that launched a thousand collections.
This is possibly the most popular board game in my house
I own Star Trek Catan. The special crew abilities make for some interesting tactics.
Every time I see the 3d Delux Catan I want one!
I guess I might have a go at scratch building some hex-based scenery of my own… Maybe if I was clever enough I could use it for Battletech too?
I have the original (I think it might be old enough that the rules are in German) and I am tempted by starfarers and the 3d edition looks great
The map tiles are fabulous looking for gaming.
