Combine Shotguns & Sorcery in a Fantasy Noir RPG

If you're a reader, you may have heard of the fantasy noir stories of Matt Forbeck. Outland Entertainment is now bringing the exciting literary world of Dragon City to Kickstarter in their project, Shotguns & Sorcery RPG.

The storyline in the books can't help but lend itself to an RPG, so if you're a fan of either, then this is definitely a Kickstarter for you! In this RPG, players will find themselves living within the walls of the Dragon City under the rule of the Dragon Emperor. The huge walls that surround the city serve the purpose of keeping the zombies out. The zombies obey their necromantic commander, The Ruler of the Dead, and each day scratch away at the walls attempting to gain entry to the city. Life goes on as usual within the walls and you must make a living in whatever manner you see fit. Sure, you can make money within the walls, selling essence to the addicts who use it to fuel their magic. Or perhaps you find yourself pressured into a dwarven gang? But there is another way...beyond the protected walls of the Dragon City. You could steal from the ruins outside the walls- yes, it's illegal, but it's very profitable, and certainly less mundane than any jobs to be found on the inside- but then again, you have to live to appreciate it.
