This weekend I built the landing gear – only the rear flaps on the fuselage are missing. The landing gear can be removed to show the shuttle in flight configuration. Since the Lambda-class shuttle has only two landing gear frames, each almost in the middle at the bottom outside of the fuselage, I have already made a thin transparent support, which can be attached to the bottom centre of the front part of the ship by means of a pin, in order to stabilise the ship when displayed in landing mode. Then I took this support off to see how the balance is – and completely unexpectedly the shuttle stood securely. In case of strong vibrations, it wobbles minimally forwards and backwards, but remains securely standing. You have to deliberately and clearly help it with your hand to make it tip forwards or backwards. That worked out great, because now I can use it without a prop in its original landing state even as a “terrain” piece in Star Wars Legion.

Grand Admiral Thrawn also seems pleased with the progress:

Amazing! Anything else I have to say would be redundant.
