Spartan Bring Back The Dog For Dystopian Legions
December 12, 2014 by brennon
Werner Hahl of the Prussian Empire in the world of Dystopian Legions by Spartan Games will be heading into battle with his very own sidekick in the shape of Glücklich the pooch with power. Not often you see a dog with an engine...
The dog was so faithful a companion and good on the battlefield that Werner couldn't let him bite the dust and head off to the big doghouse in the sky. Now both he and his master are mechanically retrofitted to fight on.
Certainly a different sidekick to the one we saw yesterday and it shows off the range of different creations they'll be working on. Hopefully we'll see some more soon!
What do you think of Werner and Glücklich?

Those two are kinda neat.
Not a fan of the dog. Those legs couldn’t support that engine and if the dog was able to move, it’s would probably tip over.
They also haven’t given him a steam powered tail to wag 🙁
Poor fellow, and how is he supposed to cock a leg up the barbed wire post?
He’d go full mono-bike! Mono dog, mono dog, does whatever monodog does…prolly spin in circles.
Hear hear. Also the interaction between dog and engine is just wrong. They could have done it a lot better… and put it in a less stiff pose, too. That’s entirely possible with 3D sculpting !
Lucky doesn’t really work as a name in German. 🙂
I’d have to see the miniature from more angles, like this it likes a bit wonky.
I think the mask on the dog is the goofy part. Besides that its an OK model.
At least it doesn’t have a chainsaw tongue
Wouldn’t matter too much if he did.
It’s not like he has any balls to lick! lol
