I’ve been sort of watching the ‘awesome’ and ‘super exciting’ reveals at the WarhammerFest thing … and for the most part it was more a ‘meh’ feeling.
I do think the new squat squad for Necromunda is kind of cool, but that hover trike thing really had me go ‘hmm’. Would love to see them compared to Stargrave minis, because I suspect they’re not dwarf sized … 😉
HorusHeresy looks like it’s trying to make things even more expensive by selling anything that isn’t a standard weapon as a separate boxed set. They’ve managed to create 4(!) sets of boxes with only weapons (and the arms that hold them). As such it looks like that if you were to buy that super expensive 200$ starter set you also need at least one of those sets … just to get some heavy weapons into your force.
Are people really *that* desperate for HH that they’d pay that much money just to get started with an ancient ruleset ?
Because it’s just 7th edition 40k … which makes no sense to me. If 7th edition was ‘good’ then GW wouldn’t have created 8th and 9th editions, right ? But then this is GW … they make a new set of rules, because that’s what they told their audience they’d do. And I’m pretty sure there’s going to be a 10th edition just because they can and not because it’s needed.

Anyways … business gonna business, so I shouldn’t be annoyed by the lack of consumer friendly updates.
It’s a dealer of plastic craic that knows people will buy whatever male bovine excrement they’re going to repackage as ‘new’.
