Darrell digs out one of the classic Games Workshop kits, the Space Marine Land Raider and even though there's a lot of anti-armour out there, this is still one of the best vehicles in Warhammer 40K.

You mentioned a “New Book” comming out that makes Landraiders awesome. What book is that ment to be? Is it just for vehicles, or spacemarine vehicles or all vehicles? Id be interested to know more 🙂 Cheers. LOVE your work. Cant wait for Necron week.
Pormethium!
Whilst its always nice to tweak army lists and be ultra competitive and only field the perfect units every time, I think every SM army should include Land Raiders, simply because its -by far- the best tank model in the whole 40K range.
Anyone know what book Darrel is talking about?
miniwargaming.com has confirmed that GW is moving to resin models to replace their metal kits…pls do a video about this.
It’s easy, the next Marine book, that will continue the proud tradition of making the latest marine book the cheesiest 🙂
I would guess this will come up on the next turn 8
Darrel, I have the idea for you. I have designed a land raider that has 5 Twin linked assualt cannons. It can destroy other land raider. Its the best. There is a forum for it by the way.
ok.. i can tell no one knows. Besides new space marie book wont come out untill about this time next year.
awesome peace of kit mine has a storm bolter 😛 and twin las cannons lol
I like Darrell and his reviews. And actually, I want to take Darrell home and put him in a small cage in my basement and poke him with sharp sticks until his cutlets are tender. After we argue about Gamesworkshop he will work himself into a rage and assail me with old feces that has been accumulating in his cage. After a while I will realise that I will have to set Darrell free because I am unable to take care of, or care for a “Darrell”, as I do not have enough Rugby shirts to sustain a happy and… Read more »
Careful, he has a special Polo Shirt of Grumpiness +5…

I am going to be purchasing 2 land raiders for my Grey Knights army. I was just wondering if 2 redeemer’s would be better than a land raider and a redeemer. I was thinking about the lascannons for more of the heavy lifting with the redeemer for closer support.I would just like someone else’s opinion.
I cant decide between a land raider and a dread nought whats betta.
not really comparable but if you were to buy one go with the raider: depends on the army and many things…
And now something completely different!
For those of you out there that don’t know GW is increasing their prices (again) from June 1st. All of the changes are here (very very long list so watch out) https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?pli=1&key=tIytonRUpm6fRkxpIjqcDzQ#gid=0
GW also goes resin and it will of course make some stuff cost more. The entire list here http://www.giftsforgeeks.org.uk/blog/?p=570&sms_ss=facebook&at_xt=4dd1185cd45d3132%2C0
And probably most of you already know about the ’embargo’ but if not read this http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=new&ref=212
I hope I didn’t brake any rules by leaving those links. If yes, please remove them.
Dear BOW, will you make any vids commenting those ‘revolutionary changes’ in GW policy?
Regards
Land raider carries troops, paid sbigger punch, has better armor etc..
What’s this new book business?.
id like to know what he means about the new book. but aparently everyone is just glazing over that. Nobady knows and darel obviously dosent read these posts or he might of replied. I mean how long does it take to reply to a post?
I love this land raider!!
biggest question i have is why has someone downvoted everyone on this page?
but yeah…new book?
I like to know as well here.
Earth to Darrell.
The hurricane bolter shields are on backwards.
Sorry Darrell, but the Crusader is a better choice. It’s all about range. The HBs are 12/24″. I don’t want anything getting within template range of the LR, unless it is then preoccupied with assault terminators 😉
