Brother Vinni has put together a new release for those who are obsessed with the Fantasy world of Elden Ring right now. Alas, no "Pot Boy" here but here is the Witch Of Mushrooms that you could use as your quest giver in your wargames.

The model above is modelled off Ranni The Witch who will be familiar to those who have dived into Elden Ring. But, I like the move towards things being more fungi-focused when it comes to this particular miniature. I think that she would be awesome as part of an Elden Ring themed warband in games like Frostgrave or Rangers Of Shadow Deep.

Another cool thing about going down the mushroom style is that you could play around with some interesting blending techniques. You could start to add a shimmering blue-through-to-white feel to the miniatures if you wanted to keep it in line with Elden Ring. OR, you could explore glow effects from the biological luminescence that you get from some fungi.

I think you could have some real fun with this miniature and, in true Brother Vinni style, I would imagine that we're going to be seeing more miniatures in this style in the near future. I would find it hard not to buy a few of them just to make that themed warband I mentioned above!

Branching out from Elden Ring into the rest of the Soulsborne series, there are some fantastic miniatures in the Dark Souls and Bloodborne board games that could easily find a home in warbands for games like Frostgrave or Rangers of Shadowdeep. I hope Brother Vinni puts out a few more of these to complement them!
