Games Workshop is setting up pre-orders for the new Arena Of Shades Boxed Set for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar this weekend. This gives you a chance to snap up a couple of new options for the Daughters Of Khaine and Nighthaunt.

The set comes with two forces that you can use to get gaming in The Mortal Realms. You get the classic Witch Aelves/Sisters Of Slaughter alongside a set of Doomfire Warlocks/Dark Riders. The winged Khinerai Heartrenders/Lifetakers also take to the skies.

On the side of the Nighthaunt, you have the Bladegheist Revenants, Crawlocke The Jailor's retinue and a set of Myrmourn Banshees. You also get a few new models that you can snag first here.

High Gladiatrix & Scriptor Mortis - Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

High Gladiatrix & Scriptor Mortis // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

The Daughters Of Khaine get to call on the martial prowess of the High Gladiatrix. On the other side, you have the spirit tasked with tallying the dead and keeping an eye on the numbers with the Scriptor Mortis. The Nighthaunt also get the Craventhrone Guard who have been sent to watch over the Scriptor Mortis and bring back the souls of the dead.

The more I see the Nighthaunt miniatures, the more I am won over by them as a faction. They seem like they would be really fun to paint, especially with the Contrast range. You could have some real fun with wet blending across their range.

This set is going to be available to pre-order this weekend but, as always, these miniatures are going to be available separately in the future. So, if you really want to get started (perhaps with a friend) then keep an eye out. Otherwise, watch out for future releases to snap up these packs individually.

Are you tempted by this new boxed set for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar?
