Phew, the news doesn't stop this morning, does it? Games Workshop also released a brand new Blood Bowl team. As a Norse fan myself, it was great to see my favourite team from back in the day making it to the pitch once more.

The new Norse Team takes the original premise and team set-up and runs with it pretty faithfully. You still have horned helmeted berserker and the mighty Ulfwerner for you to use as the core of your team.

Those are some ale-filled individuals making a statement on the pitch. They look like they are drinking more than the Dwarfs which is saying something! The team features the Ulfwerner as mentioned above, a wild and feral player who is no doubt going to be used in Space Wolf armies too.

You can also call on the Valkyrie to add some agility and speed to proceedings.

The more skilful Valkyries work nicely alongside the brutality of the Berserkers. The savagery of the Ulfwerner then finishes proceedings and provides you with one tough and nasty team. But, there is another player we haven't mentioned!

Beer Boars // Blood Bowl

The Beer Boars aren't just decoration or an accessory. These are real players. What do they do? Well, we don't know that yet. BUT, I think they look fantastic and might have just stolen the crown of "cutest Warhammer animal" from that Warhammer Underworlds crab.

It's nice to see Blood Bowl still getting updates and some of the classic teams receiving the new and upgraded plastic kits that they deserve. A fun set for Fantasy Football players.

We also got a look at a brand new warband for another of the more specialised games by Games Workshop.

The Exiled Dead are led by the strange Vampire Necromancer known as Deintalos The Exiled. He has worked his way down into Harrowdeep and is now performing all manner of experiments on the denizens that dwell there.

Assisted in Hammer Horror fashion by his underling, Marcov, this fellow has designed a cadre of undead that are more than mere shambling husks. He can use his power to push them beyond their limits and, in game terms, attack all at once in an avalanche of undead flesh.

I'm not entirely sure that I am sold on this particular warband but I think it will be fun for those who want to dip their toe into the Undead in Warhammer Age Of Sigmar. This is one of the strong points of Warhammer Underworlds that's for sure.
