The Village of Humerstane Finished
The village of HumerstaneHere is the whole completed village of Humerstane in if full glory, minus a couple of things. I am really impressed by these as they are so full of character and very nicely proportioned to 28mm. These are 3d designed and resin prints and really nicely detailed, quite subtly details too, with lots of interest to pick out and lovely and clean. Building wise it could be simpler as they have on the inside the directions, front/back and you just match them up, but really its child’s play.
Painting wise they are a dream. I just did a dark to light scheme and a lot of drybrushing to bring out the details and washes. These models take washes well as there is a subtle surface which is brought out but both techniques.
These are the Wimentum Village for Warhost‘s Barons’ War game but I can see these working for any early medieval, high medieval, right thought to the Jacobite Wars in the a8th century. Also I high these will be great for fantasy games like Burrows and Badgers, the Woods, etc and also for Star Wars too.
