Empress Miniatures has a bunch of new metal miniatures for those diving into 28mm Thirty Year War on the tabletop. Artillery and Cavalry have been added into the mix recently including a big ol' cannon.

Thirty Year War Artillery - Empress Miniatures

Each of the crew is available separately if you like but you can also buy them with the Medium Cannon. If you like, the Cannon is also available separately. The team at Empress has done what they can to try and keep the traditions of Bohemian Miniatures (where these originated) alive, a good option for those just needing one or two miniatures.

New Thirty Year War Cavalry

As well as the Artillery, you can also get your hands on some brand new cavalry options which come heavily armoured and unarmoured. They also work for all manner of different factions that were fighting during the period.

I love the fellow with the pistol above in particular! The miniatures here are obviously themed to the Thirty Year War but you could use them for the English Civil War very easily. You have some good options here for both the Parliamentarians and Royalists.

Some great miniatures that would be fun to paint. I like that each of the elements of the sculpt are separated well thanks to well-defined detail. This means that when it comes to painting, it should be a doddle!

Even More Foot Soldiers!

We also got a few more foot troops over the weekend that have been added to their webstore.

You've got a good mix of different units to play around with that would make individual units absolutely pop. I really like these fellows, getting ready to signal a charge into the ranks of the enemy.

Are you tempted by more of the Thirty Year War range?
