A new Starter Set is on the cards for the folks at GCT Studios and their game, Bushido. We've been seeing some previews of it over the last little while but we also finally got a look at some of their stunning 35mm miniatures too!

Kiyozumi Hinadori - Bushido

Kiyozumi Hinadori // Bushido

The new set brings together a pair of Ronin lovers, Kiyozumi Hinadori and Hozumi Koga. They grew up in the same village but didn't meet until they were adults. They fell in love and their relationship should have formed a strong bond were it not for a generational insult that has consumed by of their noble samurai families! Very Shakespearean.

These two make up the two main protagonists of their upcoming Two-Player Starter Set. They, alongside the other characters in the set, are all Ronin too meaning they can work with whatever faction you like. You'll then be able to play through stories and scenarios with just these characters and perhaps track this with advancements thanks to Enhancement Cards.

As mentioned, these characters can work for a variety of different factions but I really like the idea of telling something more narrative with these two lovers. It would be fun to have them on opposite sides of a conflict, to begin with, before using their Enhancements to give them True Love so they can be used together!

Are you excited to give this game a go? It would be excellent to see more people diving into Bushido, especially with a set like this.

Are you tempted to dive in?
