Some Silver Bayonet
Starting off with some goblins
I began the project with some goblins. The official ones are due out soon but I couldn’t wait. I’ve gone for GW’s goblin town goblins from the Hobbit range. The minis are really wonky, in a good way, delightfully so.
This was my first time playing with contrast paint (mostly Millitarum Green and Snakebite Leather). I’ve not done a great job but oh my it was quick!
Basing isn’t complete. I’ve not yet decided exactly what to do.
Great idea. I am using a set of those GW goblins for my hobgoblins. I love using Contrast as part of my palette now, but maybe not in the one thick coat way that they advertised.
Yeah it’s a learning process.. Still they’re done for now and I’m tempted to upgrade to the “official” goblins. Zombies are up next and they suck less.
I have Corelocks from Lucid Eye lined up as hobgoblins.
If you get the official goblins maybe use these as ghouls later. If you mix up a mucky green tint flesh colour you could just drybrush these and redo the leather.
Good call there
