So it’s been a minute since I’ve updated this project and honestly? Not too much has happened. On the upside I have painted some miniatures, for the first time in nearly 3 years. Now admittedly these were for Battletech, but it was painting. And as first steps go it was a big confidence booster. I’m planning to paint some 40k over the next few weeks, but we will see.
Now, I have continued with the odd build & kitbash, so the ranks of my various Imperial armies have been growing:
Eradicators for Uriel Ventris' 4th Company Ultramarines - sticking with my policy of old school back banners and everyone wears a helmet. I think I want to do them a squad each of Assault & Devastator Marines, and maybe a Firstborn Lt?
Honestly? Toying around with kitbashes of the current Adepta Sororitas range is wonderfully relaxing. 
Picked up some spare Black Templar Neophyte bodies so I could use leftovers from the Crusader Squad and some of the BT Upgrade kit. Means that the Loki Crusade has 2 Crusader squads to draw on....
Now these have been in the build pile for a while, a unit of Palanite Subjucators. I've built them to use as Crusaders in my Imperial Guard and Sisters of Battle forces. There are 15 regular Palanite Enforcers to build as well, and I'm thinking of doing them as a Command Squad and Veteran Squad - I have it in mind to do a small Necromundan IG Force...And then today I had the house to myself for a bit so got into the kitchen to finally clean up a chunk of the resin minis I’d picked up over the last couple of years, most of it intended for use in building a force of the Tanith First and Only, better known as Gaunt’s Ghosts (the fact I’ve been listening to the audiobook of Necropolis is purely coincidental to making this decision 😉 ).
The process was fairly simple – one bowl of warm, soapy water to soak the parts in, some cheap toothbrushes to do the scrubbing, and a bowl of cold water to rinse them in once done. Then just crack on.
(and for completions sake, the models here are primarily from Victoria Miniatures, but also include a several from the likes of Trolls Under The Bridge, TT Combat, Aus30k, Brother Vinni and Heresy Lab)
