Dark Souls RPG Collector’s Edition Incoming From Steamforged
February 10, 2022 by fcostin
If you have been excited for the upcoming release of the Dark Souls Roleplaying Game from Steamforged Games, and consider yourself a collector, Steamforged Games is releasing a Collector's Edition release in a very limited amount, only available from their store.
New Trailer! DARK SOULS™: The Roleplaying Game // Steamforged Games
Only available for a short time, and packing merely 5000 worldwide copies, players will be able to head to the Steamforged Games store on February 16th at 15:30 UTC for a swing at bagging themselves the Collector's Edition.
If you are keen on adding this one to your library, be sure to get yourself notified here, to ensure that you do not forget about the book and find yourself disappointed when they are all gone.
Collectors Edition // Dark Souls Roleplaying Game
The collector's edition will cost $99.95 / £94.95 / €94.95, as opposed to the Standard Edition which is now available to be preordered for $49.95 / £44.99 / €44.95 - depending on where you are in the world!
The content of both core books is indeed the same, 500 pages spanning over lore, abilities and so much dark and gritty information. However the Collector's Edition will be bound in a leather-look cover, with pages embossed in gold foil to shimmer from your own personal library. According to Steamforged Games:
"The design is a homage to the DARK SOULS™ bonfires, creating a glowing ember effect when light runs over the gold foil and gilt edges."
I personally love and adore a hardback book for my RPG campaigns, however, Collector's Editions have always been a bit of a mare for me to get my hands on - unless I am organised. So be sure to sign up if you are interested to be prepared for the live date on this edition. Unless you are keen on heading over to eBay when they have met allocation and be forced with a ridiculous price!

I think that is the wrong trailer linked XD Though I find a “Warmachine: Khador Vs Mercenaries – 25 Point Battle Report” from 2017 much more interesting then Dark Souls XD
£94…no thanks.
The FOMO affect says Noooo?
FOBRO – fear of being ripped off
A fab looking table.
