February 10, 2022 by fcostin
Mantic have invited players into the Locker Room this week for OverDrive. Celebrating the board game and its upcoming releases, with new players heading into the arena.
The Bug vs Big Mech Rival Pack // OverDrive
First up, we get to take a look at the upcoming Rivals Pack making way to our tabletops, with Big Mech vs The Bug. Starting with the big boy and his big mechanical armour, Big Mech.
Big Mech // OverDrive
Found amongst scraps after laying waste in the DreadBall warehouse, this titanous unit has been given a new lease of life. A quick paint job, a run through the car wash and a fancy new chip inside brings Big Mech a violent and savage playstyle. However, this AI chip may not be working to spec, with rumours that Big Mech is now controlled by a goblin inside ready to push forward into glory.
For more information on Big Mech's abilities - be sure to check out the announcement from Mantic here.
Second, to be joining the roster is The Bug. You may be looking at his stats and thinking, this guy is quite slow! However, he is certainly no force to be underestimated.
The Bug // OverDrive
The Bug has been talking rest amongst the cargo ship of the Radner Corporation. Although his life was in peril at one stage, he began to find happiness in his place as Mascot for the Radner Hornets in DreadBall. However, the players will be quick to see this little oddball has a better purpose, enlisting this dude where he can slam as he has never slammed before - finding a home in the OverDrive leagues in an extremely unpredictable and adaptable playstyle.
For more information on The Bug's stats, be sure to check out more information released officially by Mantic here.
