Ships with big guns are cool but what about massive walking death machines with big swords that emerge from the ocean to smite said ships? I think we're all agreed on what's cooler. Let's take a peek at the new pre-orders from Warcradle Studios for Dystopian Wars!

Hochmeister Battlefleet Set // Dystopian Wars

The Hochmeister Battlefleet Set leads the way, offering up the aforementioned sword-wielding walkers. If you're playing as The Imperium, I can see no reason why you wouldn't want to drop these into your fleet?

These Vitruvian Colossi stride across the sea bed, biding their time. Then, when the time is right they use their hydro jets to burst up to the surface, swords at the ready, to cleave ships in half! How cool is that?! Cue the Pacific Rim main theme.

This set comes with all of the plastic bits to make three  Hochmeister Vitruvian Colossi although each of them can alternatively be built as a Metzger Vitruvian Colossus if you like. This means the swords and shoulder-mounted cannons can be changed out for the Uber Flak Vierling and the Claw Arc Projector.

New Battlefleets & Support Squadrons

As well as the utterly amazing Colossi, we also have some new boats. I guess you do need some normal boats and not just loads of Colossi in your fleets...

The Konig Battlefleet Set comes with all manner of fun miniatures to use when expanding your Imperium Fleet. You've got the Konig Class Battleship alongside a Ferdinand Class Cruiser, Augustus Class Cruiser (can be built as a Schaumburg Class Cruiser) and more. There are two Arminius Class Frigates and two Sigimer Class Destroyers (which can be built as Toten Class).

Capping things off, you also have all of the tokens and such that you'll need to use these on the tabletop. A great starting point for someone diving into The Imperium right now.

This offers up some more firepower for those wanting to keep their enemy at bay and away from the shores of Blighty. You get two Agincourt Cruisers which can also be built as Athelstan and Hotspur Class Cruisers if you like.

There are also some immense Excalibur Heavy Destroyers in this set. Use these to kick some serious ass! You will also get two Morgana Submarines and SRS Tokens to show off the additional support you can bring to the tabletop.
