Magic: The Gathering’s Challenger Decks To Release This April
January 13, 2022 by fcostin
Magic: The Gathering can be a bit of a pain to get into. With loads of different releases per year to collect, it is really hard to know when to get started or what cards are even good! Especially if you only want to play in a competitive capacity with your friends.
Wizards of the Coast have now announced their Magic: The Gathering Challenger Decks for 2022, as an entry point for players to have a pre-constructed deck without having to do a ton of research and spend a fortune on up-to-date cards.
Mono White Aggro // Challenger Deck
Dimir Control // Challenger Deck
Rakdos Vampires // Challenger Deck
Gruul Stompy // Challenger Deck
There will be four Challenger Decks released containing 75 cards in total. So players can pick up the Gruul Stompy, Rakdos Vampires, Mono-White Aggro, and Dimir Control boxes to get started. The deck is ready-to-play straight out of the box, holding a 60-card deck and a 15-card sideboard, with enough comfy space for 75 sleeved cards.
If players are comfortable with the decks provided, see this as a way in through the door. Ready to upgrade and customise to immerse themselves in Magic: The Gathering with a comfortable starting point.
The decks will be available to purchase from your FLGS store on April 1st 2022.
Are you keen on giving Magic: The Gathering a go this year?

Great artwork on the card’s.
Sadly very likely mana bases on multicolor ones won’t be good and are sub-optimal straight out of box and thus needs expensive updates.
