Zombicide: Black Plague by horus500

We start with some fun stuff from horus500. They have been delving deep into painting up not just one or two miniatures but an entire board game. They took eight days to paint up seventy-one miniatures from Zombicide: Black Plague and they are looking good!

The miniatures here have been painted up very nicely indeed. Whilst horus500 considers these "good enough", I would say that they look great. I would love to play some games with miniatures painted to this quality. I really like that the sculpts from CMON lend themselves to taking washes nicely and very poppy highlights. The actual characters look fantastic in particular.

There are then all of these zombies which have been painted up in some fun ways! I like that despite the repeat sculpts, effort has been made to get them looking slightly different from each other.

This is quite the undertaking and shows what you can do once you put your mind to it. The bases also look fantastic and get across that Medieval theme. I bet this is going to be exceptionally fun to play once it gets to the tabletop, especially with this horde of zombies!

Medieval Knights by guillotine

Next up, we're checking out a few of The Barons' War miniatures from Footsore by guillotine. They have been painted up a selection of colourful knights for use in the game by Warhost.

The Barons War Knights #1 - guillotine

The last couple of days and weeks have been given over to painting both knights on foot and mounted up. I really like the simple schemes used here with two key colours used to make each of them pop. I also like that the colours from their tabards have then translated over nicely to their shields. Good freehand work too!

The mounted knights look equally as awesome as you can see.

The Barons War Knights #2 - guillotine

I commend the attention to detail on the lefthand knight. That striped caparison is absurd and must have taken a really, really long time to do! I really like the basing for these miniatures too. It helps to ground them in that grand ol' English setting. The armour also looks top-notch and has plenty of depth to it.

Hobby Bingo by danlee

Last but not least, we have something that I think we could all have a go at. Whilst Games Workshop have done something like this for their specific games, this provides you with a general "Hobby Bingo" chart that you can use during this year.

This seems like it would be a fun thing to do, especially if you have a brand new army in mind for this year. You could start off with a character or two and then expand things out. I like the little notes by the side as well which offer up some options within the bingo card to aim for. I could see myself trying to stick to this with my own Inquisitorial army idea for this year.
