Aragoto Senkenbutai by wildchevy

We start off this week's Community Spotlight with some work on the Sci-Fi world of Infinity. Here we have the Aragoto Senkenbutai from Corvus Belli painted up by wildchevy. The big thing here is the way it has been painted up in true Akira style.

This is a stunningly well-painted miniature. I absolutely love the way that the glow of the water, possibly lit from neon signs, flows over one side of the bike, and the red still pops across both the rider and the other side of the vehicle.

The base of the miniature is also a massive plus. You've got the bright blue on one side and then the darker colour on the other side. The added texture to the water here is bloomin' awesome and I like that the little waves have been sculpted up next to the tyres.

You can see more of it here...

An impressive scheme and miniature in general certainly that gets across the epic anime feel to the world of Infinity. The rest of the miniature is also great with the black-not-painted-like-black and the harsh highlighting and shading across the vehicle. A fantastic and inspiring paint job.

The Silver Bayonet Zombies by dugthefug1644

Next up, we're checking out the work of dugthefug1644 who has never really stopped painting I don't think. I reckon they paint pretty much every day! They have recently been diving into The Silver Bayonet and working on these converted Undead Napoleonic Soldiers.

The Silver Bayonet Zombies #1 by dugthefug1644

The miniatures here are a mix of both Victrix and North Star Cultist bits, as well as a few other odds and ends. The actual conversions look fantastic and they offer up an inventive way to add dark miniatures into your pulpy adventures in The Silver Bayonet.

The Silver Bayonet Zombies #2 by dugthefug1644

There is a good mix of skeletons and zombies as part of this collection which all look like they would be terrifying to face on the tabletop. I also really like how the gore has been used sparingly. It could be plastered all over them but here it has been done to look "realistic". I particularly like how it matches with the bare bones here.

A solid selection of zombies for you to use in your tabletop wargames. The basing also works nicely too and feels very natural! It is well worth diving in and checking out more from this project (see link above) as there are loads of soldiers, heroes and more in there.

Hobby/Gaming Table by poentje

Last but not least, we have some work by poentje who has been working with their friend on a fun hobby/gaming tabletop.

Gaming Table #1 by poentje

The table is made out of an old piece of office furniture. The table can be placed like so with the sides down, perfect for painting and more. You can then extend it out with a set of arms to turn it into a proper gaming table fit for a gaming mat and such.

Gaming Table #2 by poentje

What's nifty about the table is that because of the basis for it, it can be raised or lowered depending on what you need.

Gaming Table #3 by poentje

It can be modified for sitting, standing, playing board games, diving into a wargame and of course...drinking beer and eating snacks. This seems like an awesome idea and something that I reckon would be a good fit for many people's homes. When folded down it wouldn't take up too much space either which is very key I reckon.
