Demons, Kings & More Arrive From Lucid Eye This Month
January 7, 2022 by brennon
Lucid Eye has released three new sets for those diving into a bit of Fantasy wargaming on the tabletop. We start with something monstrous and demonic in the form of Bethamel, Guardian Of The Hall Of A Thousand Lamentations.
Bethamel // Lucid Eye
This is one terrifying-looking miniature for those diving into a bit of Fantasy roleplaying. I could see this being the utterly deadly foe that you have to clash with at the end of a demonic dungeon. Maybe this could be the transformation of some noble "ally" that you have been travelling with who turns out to be your enemy!
Another The Red Book Of The Elf King miniature has also joined the collection.
Chaelech Of Hale // Lucid Eye
If you're looking for a noble Fae warrior to lead you into battle then this would certainly be it. I like the full plate armour design, especially around Chaelech's legs. That sword is destined to be painted as some glowing magical blade too I'm sure.
Last but not least, we also got some more Root Elves for those building a force of forest-dwelling knife ears.
Fleet Thorns // Lucid Eye
This now opens up the cavalry option of your force with a couple of metal miniatures. You could imagine them storming through the woods on these steeds, picking their way through the roots as they pick off invaders.
I do like that the steeds here have something of the classic Warhammer horses about them. They stir up good feelings of old school Wood Elves!
Some fantastic work by Steve Saleh once again I think you'll admit. Whatever you're doing when it comes to Fantasy, I'm sure these will find a place in your collection.
Which set do you like the best?

Love the demon figure.
Those look really nice.
Good stuff to consider for another single figure project. I’ll keep it on the backburner for things to look at again.
Steeds, yes. Horses, eh no, Ponies, maybe?
Would love to see a “let’s play” of this system. It looks intriguing and the minis are nice.
