Raging Heroes has been showing off a few more Dark Elf releases for those diving into a bit of Fantasy wargaming. Whilst the last crop of releases focused on female leaders, this latest set offer up some new male options.

King Kaelith - Raging Heroes

King Kaelith // Raging Heroes

Leading the way is the mighty King Kaelith. Clad in terrifying armour and armed with a cruel sword, you know this fellow is a deadly individual. You can also tell from the over-the-top flowing cloak. That is always a tell when it comes to dastardly villains.

Perhaps fighting alongside King Kaelith, we also have Lord Askarian. I get the sense that this fellow is the slightly more brutal of the two.

Lord Askarian - Raging Heroes

Lord Askarian // Raging Heroes

I could see this fellow as a mighty raider aboard a terrible black ship or a hunter in the wilds. You could see this fellow battling fearsome beasts in the mountains and returning to his castle to drink copious amounts of wine.

The last of the new character miniatures is Xiel-Ker, Sword Master. I reckon that those weapons are a pair of cursed and demonic swords that suck the souls of those they kill.

I like the idea of these three characters being brothers. The King is their brooding leader whilst Askarian is a little more hedonistic. Xiel-Ker then steps in as the untamable one who is hard to control, rushing out to kill whoever slights him.

Avatar Of Shaah, Second Incarnation

As well as these three leader figures, we also have a new version of the Avatar Of Shaah.

This new version of the miniature is bigger and more impressive than the previous release. If you're looking for something to dominate the tabletop then I would reckon that this model would count. A good option for those wanting to make a more Slaaneshi cult perhaps?

Avatar Of Shaah Scale Comparison - Raging Heroes

Avatar Of Shaah Scale Comparison // Raging Heroes

As you can see, it towers over pretty much everything else in the range. A nice way to add to an already impressive army of Dark Elves. I would imagine this is also going to be quite the target for incoming artillery fire. I don't think it is very good at hiding behind cover.

Are you going to be picking up these new Raging Heroes miniatures?
