GCT Show Off More Elite Guards For Rise Of The Kage

GCT Studios have been busy working away in the background on the world of Rise of the Kage, their stealthy Ninja board game! See what you think of some more of their Elite Guard that will be trying to stop said Ninjas from completing their mission...
While these Samurai are considered to be the 'bad guys' in the game I kind of want to play as them instead of the Ninjas when I get into the game! I think the miniatures look superb and the paint jobs really bring them to life as well. I think that's certainly something you're going to have to do with your own set to make them stand out and indeed fit nicely with the terrain and such.
Blending into the shadows GCT Studios also showed off this stealthy 7th Ninja for Rise of the Kage with his Wolverine-style claws ready for action. I wouldn't want to run into him on a dark night and maybe Vega got some of his fighting tips from this chap in another life.

That’s fine if this was a regular board game but given the pedigree of Bushido, I would have liked to see something better. After all, unless the ‘idle’ pose for each mini is in clear plastic, you will probably want to paint them both and then you lose the distinction unless you are handy enough with a paintbrush to pull off an… Read more »
Different poses would mean double the cost though, they also supply markers to indicate their state for when you paint them, so this is probably the best compromise.
I was going to just give my ‘inactive’ models a quick wash over a light undercoat, and fully paint up the ‘active’ models.
