More Made To Order releases from Games Workshop popping up this weekend. An alternative Bilbo and Thorin's Company are going to be up for grabs for use in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game.

These miniatures give you some alternative options when it comes to making your company for games set during the period of The Hobbit. You might recognise these miniatures as showing up in the original rulebook for the game but never really appearing anywhere else!
This particular set of Dwarves for Thorin's Company was very much a golden goose. That's because they were way more dynamic and detailed compared to the plastic set we got in the Goblin Town set.

Now, you'll be able to pick up some awesome miniatures for use in your games. I really love the alternative look for Thorin here in particular alongside Fili and Kili. This is one that I imagine a lot of Middle-earth fans are going to be picking up.
Are you going to be checking these out for yourself over the weekend?

I’ll stick with Goblin Town box miniatures… I know it may offend your sensibilities @brennon, but I’ve never really liked dwarves as RPG characters, or for skirmish games…
One dwarf in the Fellowship of ring was more than enough and he was only tolerated as a comedy sidekick…
One thing I find odd is how much Dwarves don’t change from setting to setting.
It seems that people come up with a lot of ways to make elves more unique. Like in Iron Kingdoms or Dragon Age where you get some really unique elves, but the dwarves don’t really deviate from the standard template.
More re-releases I see.
Great for player’s to have the full set’s for the game.
Did the LOTR models get released? Could never find them on the site.
