Footsore Miniatures & Games has teamed up with Geoff Buss to create a charity miniature in support of The Murry Parish Trust. See what you make of the commanding Nicola de la Haye.

Here is some more on the charitable side of things for this particular miniature...
"Commissioned by Geoff Buss, all profits from the sale of this miniature will be donated to The Murry Parish Trust who supports children’s emergency services across the South of England by raising money and awareness to support projects at key trauma centres, to enable pioneering research and provide life-saving equipment."
A noble cause I think you'll agree. It also makes sense that a noble cause has been fronted by a noble lady! Nicola de la Haye could well be known as “the woman who saved England” and found herself appointed as a female sheriff amongst the male-dominated Medieval world.
I think this mostly sums her up...
"While royalist writers praised Nicola for being "a worthy lady’ deserving of God’s protection in body and soul", the rebels and the French portrayed her as "a very cunning, bad-hearted and vigorous old woman"."
If you want to find out more about her then I suggest heading on over and checking out the full history of the character over on the Footsore Webstore.
Are you going to be checking out this miniature and snapping her up for charity?

A good general/commander for the table.
So that is the English equivalent of Joan d’Arc ?
If so … burn the witch ! 😉
i always thought that Boadicea was the British Joan d’Arc ?
I bought the miniature and a full set of rules and tokens to accompany it. Next: another order for the warbands.
