Nice very ghost in the shell ?
Don’t get the point of the cinematic trailers for the likes of Magic the Gathering… it’s a card game, not a role-playing game… there’s no story to interact with, just a deck of cards shuffled at random.
A lot of folks enjoy the worlds of their card games and making a story out of their deck – me included. I can see why they use trailers like these.
Every Magic set has a story/background. Neon Dynasty is a return to the plane of Kamigawa (last visited in a Magic set 17 years ago) and happens 1000+ years after the original story, where a cyberpunk future interacts with a feudal Japanese past.
Expect another mediocre D&D spin off book soon.
there is quite a bit of lore on every card.
As such it is more than ‘a deck of cards’.
Although I don’t get the game myself, because there are sooo many cards out there that any attempt by a beginner at creating a deck is doomed to fail at this point in time.
They basically turned Kamigawa setting into Shadowrun.
It certainly is Neon.
I guess for me cyberpunk has more grit in it and less neon pink.
Wow.
Just so much Pink.
