The Price Of Crowns returns to Kickstarter from Piano Wargames and it has already garnered loads of attention! The team have already been able to break through their target and start unlocking stretch goals.
The Price Of Crowns 2 // Piano Wargames
The focus of this particular campaign is to build on the army of Wurttemberg during their campaign in 1809. The first campaign added a solid core of infantry into the mix alongside some characters but we're now seeing artillery and cavalry.

Loads of cannons and cavalry are in the mix now from Lucas Luber allowing you to make a more well-rounded force for the period of 1809-1812. According to the background here, the artillery and cavalry were highly valued by the French.
This then allows you to play out the brutal march into the snowy and icy expanse of Russia. It is a pretty devastating campaign as 14,000 soldiers headed out into the cold and only 400 returned. Napoleon was still impressed by them regardless of their dwindling numbers.
As well as getting your hands on some white metal miniatures (above), you can also dive in and pick up some STL Files as well. So, if you prefer printing these off at home and getting your miniatures more immediately then that's another good option.

As you can see, the files can be printed at a variety of scales if you prefer. Not a bad option if you play your games in a scale other than 28mm. Loads and loads of additional miniatures are available for you to snap up as Stretch Goals but you will also be able to pick up all of the options from their previous Kickstarter too.
It is well worth exploring this collection and diving in to see what they have to offer. I really like that this little passion project has turned into something bigger and given folks a window into a part of history many probably didn't know about.
What do you think of the new campaign?

Lovely
Argh more printer goodies
Lovely. Quality STLs for historical miniatures are really hard to find so glad to see someone producing so excellent stuff and doing well with their launch.
