Dune is the name on everybody’s lips at the moment, and luckily for us tabletop gamers - we already has a plethora of tabletop games to dip into.

Fans of the Gale Force Nine board game Dune: Conquest, Diplomacy & Betrayal will be delighted that there is an expansion on the way in the early stages of 2022.

House Richese, and CHOAM Expansion // Dune: A Game of Conquest & Diplomacy

The new expansion entitled Dune: A Game of Conquest & Diplomacy, House Richese, and CHOAM will expand the world further. As this game is not set on the new movie rendition and was released prior to the movie - you can expect more of sway from the novel.

I was concerned about this title from Gale Force Nine. This was one Dune title I had tried and I was worried that it would get left behind and drowned by all of the movie renditions and Hollywood need!

CHOAM Expansion // Dune: A Game of Conquest & Diplomacy

Players will have the opportunity to expand into new factions, whether it be faction CHOAM and their power in wealth or House Richese’s crafting creativeness.

There are also some new mechanics being added to the title too, adding advanced strongholds for a more grounded defence and a chance to promote using Leader Skills, customising and scheming against your opponents!

The expansion will be ready to hit retail in February 2022, so dust off your old GF9 copy of Dune, as it is being resurrected with more exploration to be added at the beginning of next year.
