After a successful Kickstarter earlier this year, Kobold Press has now released their Vault of Magic supplement book, compatible with 5th Edition campaigns. Players will be provided with a new grimoire, choc-a-bloc with spells, weapons, armour and potions to be used in your next magic-filled campaign.

I’d rather have a book that focuses on creating magic items instead of a shopping list.
Throw in a few tables for randomizing magic features and such … and *boom* an endless supply of new gadgets and tricks for your players to discover or create.
RPG books should fuel creativity, not teach people to only ever colour within the lines.
