Chaffees, Pershings & More Drop For Flames Of War’s Americans
November 26, 2021 by brennon
A big collection of 15mm tanks and more are up for grabs this week from the folks at Battlefront Miniatures for use in Flames Of War. This set of releases continues to expand on the options available for the Americans who are battling through the winter in the new Bulge supplement.

There are loads of options to choose from that would be great at taking down the heavy armour of the German war machine. This was a brutal World War II offensive for both sides so it would make sense to bring as much of an advantage as you can!
See what you make of the rest of the new releases for this week...

As well as the tanks and tank destroyers, we also have some support for your infantry and options that can watch the skies. For example, these half-tracks with AA guns mounted on the backs of them could be very handy.

You also have this fascinating creation, the T27 Xylophone Rocket Launcher Battery.

These weren't particularly welcomed by the troops at first but when they are mounted on the back of trucks and doubled up like this, they became more manoeuvrable and therefore better at getting to a place where they could offer additional support.
Are you going to be picking up these new miniatures for use in your American force?

Fantastic looking armour to add to the table.
I’ve always been a fan of the Chaffee since I read Martin Windrows book on Dien Bien Phu
Yup. I heard about that. The French flew them in in “parts” and they were assembled at the airfield. They did quite well (although they were all eventually taken out), it was a rough battle for all involved 🙁
