The Ballad of the Beige Cowboy
Nikolai Tesla
I’ve decided this time to go with a little experiment on this one mixing up some blue paint, blue ink and some medium just to see if what I think will happen will.
So I mixed up some Liquitex ink, Crystal blue and some wash medium and applied it over a white primer hoping for a basic contrast effect. Overall I think it came out okay for a base layer with shade.
With the base layer down for the armour it’s time to block in the details
Now at this point I did start to get frustrated with the lightening bolts as I couldn’t get them as clean looking as I’d like. Also as they are so thin drybrushing them was a real pain. I did go in with a very watered down light blue to try and level them out a little. It seemed to work enough for me to move on!
After a quick drybrush to highlight the head a washes where applicable decided that was enough for Tesla to be table ready so tidied up the base and moved on!
